Highway 43 Car Club takes ownership of
Kemptville Car Show in order to help the
Kemptville Youth Centre
The
Kemptville Youth Centre (KYC) have accepted
the proposal of the Highway 43 Car Club to
take over the Kemptville Field of Chrome Car
Show . This partnership will bring in many
car enthusiasts, families, and our community
to support the Highway 43 Car Club and the
KYC. All profits from this event will go
towards a building fund to relocate the KYC
to a larger space.
The KYC is now in its fifteenth year of
helping youth and improving our North
Grenville community. A larger and better
building is required to continue providing a
safe haven for the youth of North Grenville,
This new home will provide greater space to
hold a wider variety of programs and to give
youth enough room to be active.
The
show, which will be held on June 20, 2010,
will now be called the "Kemptville
Father's Day Show & Shine” and held at the
same spot as previous years, Riverside Park
in Kemptville. In the photo, members of the KYC stand with
